about

In dark water, now I drown
In these black depths there’s no sound
Current drags me to my death
The sea stealing my last Breath
Swallowed by the tide, no one hears my cries
No sun left in sky, can’t be how I die
Kick and claw to save myself
Through this fight, I'll meet my fate
My lungs fill, there is no air, this is the end, now I'm aware
At peace with this, my soul roams, the black tide, will take me home

about

Black Tusk Savannah, Georgia

Black Tusk was born from sweat. There was blood, and maybe a few tears, too, but more than anything, it was sweat that marked the earliest years of Savannah, Georgia’s Black Tusk. Formed in 2005 by three lifelong friends—bassist Jonathan Athon, guitarist Andrew Fidler, and drummer James May—the band welded together what they called “swamp metal.”
